The gloves were literally off for these brutal action shots showing bare knuckle boxers battling it out.

Spectators turned up in their hundreds to watch bout after bout at the BEC Arena in Stretford, Manchester, on Saturday [JUL 6].
The main event of the evening was the British Heavyweight Title Eliminator, which saw Polish MMA and kickboxer Lukaz Parobeic take on Cheshire’s finest Lee Mcgarry – with the victor going on to face Heavyweight Champion Gareth ‘Gumpy’ Walker from Hawick in Scotland.
Fans of the sport paid up to £79 for ringside seats, with the titles decided in rounds of five minutes each – while for non-title deciders competitors had just three minutes to launch a knockout blow.
