A lion has been captured gazing at a skyline city from the safety of his jungle throne.
Suhail Manji, 32, a photographer from Nairobi, Kenya, captured the pictures during a visit to the Nairobi National Park.
Suhail has been photographing wildlife for the past four years, focusing mainly in big cats such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.
He said: “In the pictures you can see a lion named Sirikoi overlooking his kingdom after a brief scuffle with his brother Segel.
“I personally love the Nairobi National Park as it has a usual back drop of the Nairobi skyline.
“The park is not fully fenced which means every now and again the wild cats leave the park in search of prey.
“At times this leads to attacks on cattle that belong to community members that live along the border of the fence.
“However, in most cases the humans and wildlife co-exist in harmony.”
