Despite his back legs not working, this is one flexible pooch!
The videos show 11-year-old Boxer dog, Tango, taking part in dog therapy, including a special ‘Doga’, dog yoga, class.
His owner, 35-year-old Realtor, María de los Ángeles Pérez has been shooting her pup in action since last year.
María said: “He has five lumbar hernias and surgery is not possible because of his old age- but luckily he has no pain.
“Therapy helps the disease progress as slowly as possible – in order to not become completely disabled, he needs to strengthen his musculature.
“In the beginning it was very sad to see that he wasn’t able to walk normally, and we thought that meant that he wasn’t going to be with us for much longer.
“But when we got him his walking frame and he started to use it correctly right away, we realised that he could continue been happy with just a little help from us, and since then it has been two years.
“This “routine” is sometimes really hard because it’s every day no matter what –if it’s sunny or raining, or Monday or Sunday. But it is also really satisfying to see that, despite his disability, he is enjoying life and acts like a completely normal dog.”
