A painstaking video shows an axe being restored from a rusty mess into a gleaming wood chopper.
Ievgen Gretskyi went through multiple time-consuming processes to bring the weapon, which had been bought at a flea market, back to its former glories.
Starting off with electrolysis to remove rust, Ievgen then filed down all the dents and scratches, before polishing it with sandpaper.
All in all, it took two weeks for the axe to be ready for use again, finishing off with etching the head in some hot vinegar so it wouldn’t rust again.
Ievgen, from Alberta, Canada, said: “I absolutely love the outcome.
“I used it straight away to chop some firewood outside.”
