A wacky commuter was filmed using a POGO STICK as their transport to work – bouncing six feet in the air while moving at speed down the busy London Bridge.
Wayne Howes was on his way to work last month [March 30th] when he captured the ‘bizarre’ and ‘unusual transportation’ as the man jumped across the landmark.
The photographer claims that passers-by stopped to watch in shock as he bounced through the crowd and Wayne feared he would accidentally fall over the side of the bridge.
However, the 36-year-old was impressed with the spring in his step and couldn’t resist capturing it on camera.
Wayne, from Gravesend, in Kent, said: “When I saw that the guy was coming down the bridge I was just like, ‘what the hell?’ I was really shocked.
“I have seen quite a lot of strange things in London but I have never seen anything like that before.
“I was on my way to a photoshoot and I was sat in the backseat of a car when I saw him. I just knew that I had to take a video of it.
“There were quite a lot of people on the bridge that day, everyone was staring at him. It was such a weird moment but very funny. I thought it was brilliant.
“It is quite dangerous to do that on a bridge though. He was going very high, he could have gone over the side.
“I have no idea why he was using a pogo stick. It’s possible that he was commuting to work – transportation in London can be quite unusual.
“He definitely knew what he was doing though, he was bouncing around and he just went straight through the crowd.”
