Pasty chain Greggs is offering shoppers free gift wrapping in paper festooned with festive STEAK BAKES – and you can even buy sausage roll socks.
The bakery’s Christmas gift service launched in their Birmingham store yesterday [TUES].
Shoppers were even served complimentary mulled wine while their special gifts were wrapped in festive Greggs-themed paper.
And Greggs addicts were even able to buy a pasty-themed Christmas jumper for £18, £4 doughnut socks and £10 sausage roll umbrellas for the lucky – or not so lucky – people in their lives.
Hannah Squirrel, customer director, said: “Fitting everything in at Christmas can be a struggle, so we wanted to help our customers lighten the load.
“Our free gift-wrapping service means weary shoppers can take a break while our elves wrap their presents.
“Shoppers could even pick up some gifts for the Greggs fan in their life with our limited-edition range.”
The festive service was launched in light of new research revealing 69 per cent of the nation admit they find the build-up to Christmas stressful.
