Animals Video

It’s turtle-aly awesome down on the seabed, where Jacinta Shackleton, a marine biologist captured a shot of an endangered green turtle having a snooze on a bed of soft coral.

The marine biologist, from Lady Elliot Island, Queensland, was snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, in Australia when she saw the endangered sea creature.

She said of her October sighting, “These animals can take one big gulp of air and rest on the bottom for roughly four hours before needing to surface again.”
