This is what it would look like to be trampled by a herd of elephants.
Game ranger Pieter Van Wyk, 33, captured this amazing footage while on safari in MalaMala Game Reserve in South Africa.
Filmed in June 2017, Pieter captured the herd while they were on their way to take a drink from a sand river.
Pieter put the camera down as the elephants are known to access the river from this point and wanted to capture them from a unique perspective.
Pieter said: “We have a very healthy elephant population on the reserve – they’re a dime a dozen.
“I spotted a herd moving west towards the river and I shot around to that spot and placed my GoPro on the ground in anticipation of them using this access point.
“As the elephant were running over the camera, all I thought was I wonder if the memory card will still be readable if they crush the camera.”
