Twin towering tornadoes were captured closing in on a coastal town before causing devastation.
Christian Cernuschi filmed the massive twister partnered by a smaller formation approaching the coast of Patù, southern Italy, early on Sunday afternoon (NOV 25).
Severe weather has ravaged across the regions of Puglia and Calabria throughout the weekend, with storms causing extensive damage to cars, buildings and trees.
Christian said the tornado entered on to the land and ran through villages causing fear and destruction.
He said: “I have never witnessed anything like it.
“The villages along the coast were deprived of electricity, and phone lines were interrupted.
“We also had some walls and trees collapsing and many cars were damaged.
“I was amazed at first, then I felt frightened.
“Luckily, the tornado dodged me.”
