The stunning pictures reveal some of Scotland‘s prettiest locations – including the Old Man of Storr and the Buachaille Etive Mor.
Paul Zizka, a photographer from Canada, captured the incredible pictures while on a holiday to Scotland – some of them revealing the country’s picturesque landscape while others show impressive star trails.
The locations include the Isle of Skye, Ardvreck Castle in the Assynt region, the Buachaille Etive Mor area of the Highlands and the Quiraing on Skye.
Paul said: “I spent a handful of days wandering around a particularly scenic and wild part of Scotland with two fellow Canadian photographers in search of creativity and wilderness.
“We spent a phenomenal, crystal-clear night on Skye shortly after landing in Inverness.
“I’ll never forget the surreal feel of wandering beneath the huge-looking spires of Storr.
“The following days were spent experiencing all kinds of wild weather, the usual Scottish mixed bag as we visited some iconic corners of the Highlands.
“The drama was everywhere, but the ominous skies and wild pinnacles of Quiraing were the highlight for me.”
