A school principle managed to surprise his girlfriend by asking for her hand in marriage after singing a duet from Disney hit film ‘Frozen’.
Jeremiah Collins, 25, is a principal at Germantown Christian School, in Trenton, Ohio, and wanted to suprise his girlfriend, Tessa Tanton, a 23-year-old Administrator Assistant after meeting at bible school, two years ago.
Jeremiah planned the surprise proposal after incorporating it into a ‘lip-sync battle’ at the end of a Christian youth camp.
He said: “I’ve been wanting to purpose for the past nine months, but I was waiting for the perfect opportunity.
“I wanted the proposal to be unique and unforgettable. Something she would never expect and most definitely never forget.
“Our church puts on a youth camp, and the last night we do what is called a lip-sync battle.
“I was in charge of this event this year, and figured what better way to propose then this? Especially in front of all of our friends and family.”
The pair met in 2014 after Jeremiah planned a scavenger hunt where he was the final prize and declared his love for her.
He said: “The rest of the night was crazy.
“I think we took hundreds of pictures with people and hugged everyone at the camp. It was great but exhausting. We were still kinda in awe of what just happened.
“The performance was to win, and beat the reigning champions who have won for the past two years in a row but we took the title this time.
“And the wedding planning has already begun.”
