Angry fans have burned Nike products after Colin Kaepernick was named face of their new Just Do It campaign.
Asher Levi put multiple pairs of his own trainers in a pile before pouring lighter fluid on top after the former NFL quarterback was named face of the adverts on September 3.
Having doused them sufficiently, the outraged American puts a lighter to the shoes and watches them as they go up in flames.
Nike’s decision to pick Kaepernick, the first NFL player to kneel during the national anthem to protest racism, as one of the faces for advertisements commemorating the 30th anniversary of its Just Do It slogan, is a move that could draw President Donald Trump’s ire.
