These speedy tots are battling it out to win gold in the fastest crawling baby competition.
Dozens of families cheer on their children in the contest held annually in Honolulu, Hawaii, every year in a race that sees baby against baby.
Sitting at the start of the track, one of the parents holds their child until the race begins before they’re placed on the ground and the rest of the 10 babies set off.
While some of the babies excel and finish in a matter of seconds others get easily distracted and start crawling into different lanes and get in the way of other competitors.
Sat at the finish line, other relatives use the babies’ favourite toys, keys and even iPhones to attract the baby towards the end.
Ian MacLean, who filmed this year’s event on June 5, said: “Watching the parents using anything form toys and dolls to phones to get them to win was hysterical.
“Some of the babies veer off into the wrong lane but that just adds to the charm.
“Its all a part of family bonding.”
