This hair-raising video shows the moment that black magic brought an African “dust devil” to life.
The video, which was shot in the Limpopo region of South Africa shows the tunnel of wind circling around at speed, laying waste to anything in its wake including chairs and benches.
Eye-witness Sandile Rwexwana said that the dust devil may have been created in a black magic ritual to disrupt a musical performance by a group of rival musician’s.
He said: “There was a local music group that was suppose to perform. It’s suspected that a rival group approached a witch doctor in order to disrupt a rival group who were competing.
According to Sandile, the dust devil was centred around a seating area designated for fans of a rival group.
Sandile added: “If you look at the dust devil, you can see it was targeting the chairs that were meant to seat fans of a rival music group. The local people believe it was because of the jealousy of the rival group that the music concert was disturbed by the devil.”
“It is very common of people who are rivals to fight through witchcraft in the area of Limpompo.”
