Dash camera footage captured the moment two cars smash into railings after one veers into the wrong lane.
The video was captured by Olafur Gudmundsson on road number one in Reykjavik, Iceland and shows the driver crossing into the left-hand lane, forcing his car into the railings.
Luckily no one was injured in the crash but both cars suffered extensive damage.
Olafur, who works as a professional driver, said: “The other driver was very calm after the crash as he had suffered a similar crash some years ago.
“I would believe, after seeing photos of the cars, the cost of the damage be would be around £3,500 to £4,000.
“I’m absolutely sure this would have been a more serious accident if there had been no wire rope.”
