Hundreds of England fans brought Shoreditch High Street to a standstill with an ecstatic rendition of ‘Three Lions’.
Celebrating last night’s last 16 penalty shootout win over Colombia, Instagram user @londonnas filmed double decker buses trapped in the onslaught of revellers from his London flat.
Decked out in retro and current footy shirts, the fans gave a jubilant rendition of Baddiel and Skinner’s classic anthem.
Eventually the stuck vehicles joined in with the singing as they realised they weren’t moving anywhere fast.
@Londonnas said: “The main crowd were there for an hour and the police eventually had to move them on.
“It was a real rollercoaster of emotions.
“When Henderson missed I thought it was all over, but Pickford should be knighted.
“I’m not saying football is coming home, just that I can see a path to the final.”
