This helpful bird became the cockatooth fairy when she pulled out a little girl’s tooth with her beak.

In the viral video watched more than 429,000 times on Facebook, Kylee Ann Bobbitt and her pet Nell are sat at home in St Louis, Missouri, USA.

Nell, a white cockatoo, reaches into the 11-year-old’s mouth and grabs the wobbly tooth from the back and clutches it in the point of her beak.

Ecstatic, Kylee shouts ‘she pulled it out’ clutching the molar in her fingers.

Annie, Kylee Ann’s mum, said: “On Mother’s Day morning she came into my room and said let me see Nelly, I’m going to see if she will pull this loose tooth.

“Not even two minutes later she came out of the room screaming ‘she did it, she did it’.

“We watched it and I couldn’t believe how stinking cute it turned out.

“It’s typical of these two, they are quite the pair.

“Kylee Ann is already checking for more loose teeth, so they can do it again.”
