This amazing dad is making children’s dreams come true by transforming their bedroom walls into their favourite stories.
Adam Hargreaves, from Bradford, Yorkshire, is painting spectacular wall murals for local kids with vivid imaginations.
After his daughter’s Disneyland mural went viral last year, the 28-year-old has started taking commissions from friends and neighbours, painting a Peter Pan, The Dukes of Hazzard and a Marvel inspired room.
It typically takes the dad three weeks to transform a bedroom, and he squeezes it in around his job as a store assistant.
The local hero, who has two children with wife Leah, 27, said: “Disney characters are something I get asked to do a lot.
“I’m quite versatile though with what I can do, the most bizarre thing I’ve done is a completely ultraviolet living room which is basically invisible in the day and comes to life at night.”
Mum-of-two Leah added: “The Peter Pan room was from the success of the Disney video.
“It was painted for a local lady who was expecting her first son – she actually went into labour early while Adam was still their painting the nursery!
“The Dukes of Hazzard wall was painted for my god son.
“My friend was going through a bad time and Adam wanted to do something to cheer her up.
“Her dad passed away when she was a teenager and he was a real Dukes fan.
“Her son Mason is the double of his granddad so we thought it would be apt to have a little of his granddad in his room.”
