This is the adorable moment a stubborn baby doesn’t allow nap time to interfere with her eating one of her favorite foods.
13-month-old Shekinah Calandra was filmed sleep-eating the fries by mum Mary-Aileen, during a shopping trip in Mount Druitt, NSW, Australia.
The sleepy baby was so distracted by the excitement of the shopping trip, she wouldn’t allow herself to have a well-earned nap.
It wasn’t until Mary-Aileen and Shekinah’s father, Jason, stopped for dinner and shared some fries with their daughter that they witnessed her sleep-eating her favorite food.
The mum-of-one, who filmed the moment on December 16, 2017, said: “Whilst eating dinner, I shared some fries with her.
“I then noticed that her eyes were already closed and she was asleep.
“The funny part was that she still managed to eat the chip while sleeping.”
Rapha is seen trying to navigate the fries into her mouth with her eyes closed – occasionally missing and gently nibbling her own fingers.
The funny toddler only woke when she dropped the fry onto her lap and found herself empty-handed, letting out a whimper when she was handed another.
Mary-Aileen said: “This isn’t the first time she’s done this.
“I’m impressed that she can multitask at such a young age.”
