A kind-hearted police officer stopped to help a girl whose bike chain had broken before lifting it into his car and giving her a lift home.
As John Taimanglo was sat at home in Absecon, New Jersey, USA, on March 20, he spotted the girl struggling to fix her broken cycle.
Before he could even grab a jacket for her, a member of the local police force pulled alongside and spent a couple of minutes replacing the chain.
After fixing it, the officer lifted the bike into the boot of his car before offering the girl a ride home in the back of his 4×4.
John, 17, said: “It made me feel good to see a police officer helping like this.
“You only see the bad things on social media so to capture them going the extra mile is fantastic.
“He didn’t have to get out of his car and just stayed warm and dry, but he didn’t.
“He helped a girl in need and gave her a safe ride home.”
John’s video has been viewed more than three million times on social media, with the student’s footage getting mixed reviews.
John said: “For the most part, it’s all love and happiness.
“There are always people who try and make a nice situation bad.
“But the criticism gets demolished by all of the love and thoughtful comments.
“I have only just moved to the neighbourhood so to see something like this so soon, is incredible.”
