A blogger is offering to travel round the world with strangers claiming to be the world’s first personal travel planner and assistant – with one catch, you have to pay her expenses.
Henna Rinnekangas, 32, from Helsinki, Finland, promises the journey will be ‘once in a lifetime’ for the lucky traveller.
She’s aiming her offer at people that ‘need help with travelling’, from those who were too lazy before, lacking organisational skills to fear, disability and more.
The graduate, with a masters in communications, started travelling around the world in 2011 and has now visited over 40 countries, which she later documented on her blog Whattawowworld.
Now Henna hopes someone will take her up on the offer to travel alongside her – she claims by doing so she will be the first private and personal travel assistant in the world.
Henna, a creative entrepreneur, said: “There are so many people who are not travelling and don’t know what the world has to offer.
“It’s a shame because the world widens one’s perspective.
“There are several reasons, which prevent people from travelling: diffidence and unfamiliarity, old days, disability, fear of flying, lack of organising skills and laziness etc.
“I will do my best to give these people around the world the sparkle to go and experience the adventure of their lives.
“At the same time I get to do something I love – travel.
“My dream has always been to make my living on traveling. The ground burns under my feet
“I have a great sense of humour and I’m extremely easy to get along with.
“I enjoy meaningful conversations and can offer you more than just a shallow tourist trip.
“I’m also very fascinated by this world so I’m sure I can show my clients the best part of it.
“I´m brave and spontaneous person – so people are sure to have a great time, I’m very fair, too – I respect people as they are.
“It will be interesting to see who´s the first brave soul to take up on this opportunity.
“If people can afford the trip and put their trust on me, I´ll promise to make it an unforgettable adventure.
“Maybe this is crazy but it’s good to be bit crazy, I love the stories of different people and it would be lovely to get to hear them on the road.
“I’m looking forward to booking my first client.”
Henna sets out that to hire the ‘personal travel assistant’ the client must pay for both their and her travel expenses.
She says it’s not a ‘dating’ or ‘escort service’, stating ‘This has nothing to do with that kind of service.’
Henna’s who started her blog in 2014, is next scheduled trip will see her travel around Asia for ten weeks, prior to attending the South Korea Olympics.
Of her journeys she says her favourite locations were Canada and New Zealand, due to their beautiful nature.
Henna said: “I always say I´m a child of the nature so I very much enjoy and respect the sheer beauty our world has to offer.
“For a long time, I´ve been dreaming about travelling to Africa. Who knows, maybe some of my future clients would like to go there.
“I also love Hawaii and Mexico very much.”
