This is the moment a sassy drag queen plays up to the camera as she mimes Britney Spears’ number one hit ‘Oops I Did It Again’ – only to take a hilarious tumble.
Donning a silver velvet mini dress and skyscraper heels Jack Sartorius, 24, was hosting a cabaret club night at KIKI bar in Manchester’s Gay Village as his fabulous drag alter ego Big Dee when he stacked it and landed at a friend’s feet.
After taking to the stage as the show’s glamorous star Big Dee, Jack spotted his colleague Corey Duggan, 21, filming and decided to play up to the camera strutting down a flight of stairs with microphone in hand before falling head first in five-inch heels.
Like all good friends, Corey was waiting with his camera poised to film the ‘hilarious’ moment and has since claimed it was his ‘highlight of 2017.’
The video has now been viewed on social media 474,000 times.
Corey, a journalism student from Manchester, said: “It was so funny. The doorman and I couldn’t stop laughing.
“Big Dee’s always messing around and making people laugh. Usually she’ll get people up on stage to do funny stuff to win shots.
“This happened when she walked outside the front doors. It was quite early in the evening really – probably at about 12am – and she wasn’t drunk.
“She was walking up and down the street holding the microphone – it’s something that the drag queens do on Canal Street [centre of the Gay Village].
“We all have really good banter and she was only on the floor for about 15 seconds before she got back up.
“It was October last year when this happened but I decided re-post it because it was one of the funniest things to happen in 2017.
“We work together at the venue where Big Dee hosts two evenings a week. This was on the Monday, which she hosts with another drag queen called Philph.
“There’s a big group of us at the bar – around 30 members of staff – and we’re all good friends.”
Jack also saw the funny side of his extravagant tumble and claims that he’d been playing up to the camera too much in an attempt to entertain Corey.
A drag queen for almost a decade, Jack’s no stranger to high heels and claims it was just over-enthusiastic dancing that was to blame.
Full-time bar worker Jack said: “I was just walking past the entrance and I saw that Corey was stood at the front so I started singing along.
“I thought I might as well go with it and give him a show because he was filming me but I took the completely wrong step and fall right down.
“I’d had a couple of drinks to keep things nice and fun but I wasn’t drunk.
“I tried to put my best foot forward and put the wrong foot forward instead.
“Luckily I wasn’t seriously injured, I just pulled a few muscles and had to wear flats for a couple of nights which was fine by me.
“I’ve been doing drag since I was about 15 but I started doing it professionally around two years ago.
“The heels weren’t particularly high – maybe around five inches. I’ve got higher ones than those.”
