A ‘YouTube eater’ famous for filming himself eating huge meals on the internet has taken on the iconic meal eaten by Buddy in the film ‘Elf’.
Blake Horton, from Parmus, New Jersey, eat the 4,500 calorie meal, made up of 32 ounces of spaghetti, 10 tbsp. of chocolate syrup, 1 cup of mini marshmallows, two pop tarts and three cups of M&M’s, all topped off with rainbow sprinkles.
It took Blake 30 minutes to eat the bizarre concoction after fans requested he recreate the iconic scene.
Blake said: “My fans kept asking me to do the Elf breakfast because they knew I would do it best.
“I had never seen the movie but when I saw the scene, I thought it was hilarious.
“I had been at a Christmas party when I saw someone dressed as Buddy and asked if I could borrow his hat.
“I stopped at the store on the way home and recorded at around 2am in the morning.”
The meal was featured in the Christmas film, released back in 2003, where Buddy the Elf is left to fend for himself.
Blake says he doesn’t have any more iconic movie meals planned but that if they right one came up he would be happy to give it a go.
He said: “I had fun eating this meal and it wasn’t too far off my nutritional goal of one 4,000 calorie meal a day, believe it or not.”
