In what could be the most frustrating video online, a leaf caught in a breeze floats perilously close to the ground but never lands.
While Janna Iskhakova watched out of her kitchen window at home in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, she noticed the brown frond drifting in the air.
The retired engineer watched in disbelief as the leaf rose and fell in the wind, flirting with the idea of coming to a stop before taking off again.
Having left her window for more than an hour, Janna returned to find the leaf still mid-flight, so she went outside and discovered it was attached to an almost invisible spider’s web.
Janna said: “It was so beautiful, but I was perplexed.
“It was dancing in the autumn air, to its own little tune, seemingly ignoring the rhythm and beat that everything else was following.
“I watched it for a moment or maybe an eternity before leaving it.
“When I returned, it was still there, swirling in the air without a care in the world.
“I went outside and quickly realized that the leaf was hanging on a spider web.”
