This is a rare spot on a safari – it’s ELLIE-PHANT GOULDING!
The young African elephant was spotted having fun and repeatedly tossing clumps of dried grass onto its head.
At one point it managed to balance enough yellowed blades on its head to give itself an attractive blonde wig, reminiscent of Ellie Goulding’s flowing locks.
The elephant was spotted by owner of Duma Safaris in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Bobby, 34, originally from Dubbo, Australia, said: “I was on safari in Kruger National Park when we came across this young elephant.
“It was pulling up clumps of grass and placing them on top of his head.
“It’s actually quite normal behaviour. They often smack the clumps of grass to remove excess soil before eating although I think this elephant was having some fun with the pieces.
“We were watching for about 20 minutes while it repeatedly placed clumps of grass on its head.”
