Meet the pumpkin artist who is giving the world of the rich and famous a Halloween makeover.
Jeanette Paras, 62, paints the giant pumpkins with faces of celebrities, politicians and musicians such as Donald Trump, Kim Jong Un and Prince Harry.
The retired business administrator, from Dublin, Ohio, started creating veggie art back in 1988 when she was given two small pumpkins.
She said: “Over the years I would say I have painted around 80 pumpkins.
“Every fall I go to local growing competitions to source the biggest pumpkins, some can be around 500 pounds, I have to use a forklift to get them into my garage.
“I normally choose someone who is big in the media at the time, such as Presidential candidates or celebrities, a few of my favourite have been Steve Jobs, Lady Gaga and Prince Harry.”
The display of famous pumpkins causes quite a reaction from passers-by every year, with people often knocking on her door to thank her.
She said: “The pumpkins appeal to people of all ages and all walks of life.
“I often get people knocking on my door to talk to me about my display.
“Every year my creation is top secret and no one is allowed in the garage to see what I’m up to.”
