British heavy-weight Anthony Joshua weighed-in at an impressive 18st 2lbs ahead of tomorrow night’s World Heavyweight title clash with Carlos Takam at Principality Stadium in Cardiff.


Joshua tipped the scales at 18st 2lbs at the weigh-in on Friday – the heaviest he has ever been for a fight – with Takam weighing in at 16st 11bs.

More than 70,000 fans are expected to enter the stadium to watch the current WBA and IBF world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua defend his title against challenger Carlos Takam.

The fight has drawn the attention of many and millions are expected to tune in to watch the broadcast.

Earlier this week, in an interview for Sky Sports, former super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch said that he has no doubt that Anthony Joshua will remain unbeaten by seeing off Carlos Takam but is expecting it to be explosive, no matter how short it lasts.
