An artist has shunned people around the world with his hyper-realistic paintings that look like photos.
Young Sung Kim is a 43-year-old artist, originally from Korean and now living in New York, and first started painting 20 years ago as a fine art student.
Young said: “I get my inspiration from nature and the city life around me.
“My favourite thing to paint at the moment is small animals.
“Everyone asks me if the picture is a photo.”
Each painting takes between three and 10 months to make with the smallest ones selling for around £8,000 up to £100,000 for his largest works.
He hopes one day he can have his own solo exhibition in an international major museum.
He said: “All I think about is art, I think Art is the best gift God has given me.
“All my pieces of art are as precious as my children.”
