These stomach-churning snaps show a daredevil climber relaxing in a HAMMOCK halfway up a cliff.
In the middle of scaling the El Capitan cliff in Yosemite National Park with his partner Cody Sims, brave Mich Kemeter decided to take a little break and kick back in a hammock.
He was caught on camera by pal Jeffrey Rueppel as he reclined hundreds of metres above the ground.
Mich, 28, from Austria, said: “The hammock was necessary to relax the body, and not constantly be in a harness for hours.
“Before I carried on with the rest of the climb I needed pure energy, so I had a little hang out.
“It’s always an adventure to climb big walls, and I enjoy the quality of excellent rock climbing and the feeling of being so far away from the ground.
“I just love the exposure, and sometimes you have to relax a bit during hard physical work!”
