This koala bear looks like he might be after some koala-ty time alone with his female photographer!
Three-year-old koala Oscar was snapped winking seductively at the camera at the Billabong Sanctuary in Townsville, Queensland, Australia.
Newly-released images, taken earlier this year, show Oscar posing up a sexy storm for medical receptionist and keen amateur snapper Debbie Di Lullo.
And the 59-year-old, who lives in Townsville, was well and truly bowled over by the fluffy critter’s cheeky personality.
Debbie said: “I visit the sanctuary regularly so you do build up a bond with the animals.
“Koalas sleep for 20 hours a day, so I visit in the early morning when they are at their most active.
“As soon as I took this shot I realised I’d caught Oscar winking, and I was so excited. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a koala wink – they are very cute and cheeky.”
Debbie has developed a passion for photography over the last couple of years and regularly visits Billabong Sanctuary to photograph the wildlife.
Ranger Jules Funnell said Oscar, who was born in the sanctuary in 2014 and hand-reared for three months after his mother became ill, is well-known for his cheeky charms.
She said: “Cheeky is definitely his personality, he has been like that even since he was a little joey.
“Now he’s a teenager he does try to push the envelope sometimes but he does love being around people.”
