This persistent baby monkey keeps trying to escape from its clingy mum but fails after multiple attempts.
While swinging around the Iwatayama Monkey Park in Kyoto, Japan, one of the younger animals tries to make the most of his mother’s back being turned to run away.
Before making it further than a few feet away, its protective parent sweeps the baby into her clutches on July 29.
Following two further unsuccessful attempts at freedom, mum finally grasps her troublesome child, grabbing it by the hips and running out of sight.
Natasha, who filmed, said: “Unlike the other babies I saw, this one was very adventurous and unafraid of us.
“I was delighted that it kept trying to make a break for it.
“The other younger monkeys all clung to their mothers but this baby was exploring a chair away from its mum.
“I was quite surprised when it started coming towards me and thought it was adorable it would continue to run even after she grabbed it several times to take it further from us.”
