This insane daredevil pensioner channels his inner Evil Knievel with a jaw-dropping stunt, as he drives through a tunnel of fire, after being set alight himself.
In Gauteng, South Africa, the country’s longest surviving stuntman 65-year-old Andre De Kock, is gearing up for a stunning stunt in front of an anxious crowd at Carnival City Casino.
Doused in lighter fluid from head-to-toe, the pensioner revs the engine of his Gold Rand Harley-Davidson, as he prepares to blast through 16-metres of incinerating inferno.
Flying through the ferocious flames, Andre manages to escape the blaze unscathed as he skids from its midst to the safety of the extinguishers on hand.
Tienie Van Wyk, who designed the flaming tunnel, said: “It was awesome to watch the stunt unfold first-hand and to also have a hand in its inception.
“It was so hot I could feel the heat standing 20 feet away.
“I was so relieved that everything went as smoothly as planned, it takes a huge amount of preparation but anything can happen on the night.
“The tunnel took about four months to build, but it was certainly work the hard work.
“Andre’s next stunt will see him attempt the world record of driving through a 70m fire tunnel on a quadbike, I can’t wait.”
