This Shanghai cyclist certainly has a restricted view as they’re riding around carrying multiple massive bags of recycling.
Pedalling down a fortunately quiet highway near to the Huangpu River, the rider is weighed down with huge packages not just on the side and back of the vehicle but also directly in their line of sight.
Proceeding pretty slowly down the road, the bike manages to stay upright despite the heavy and unbalanced load as the owner of the Instagram page Shanghai Observed watches on.
He said: “I hadn’t seen this before and found it funny they were carrying such a big load.
“It is quite a common sight in Shanghai, but it still makes me laugh.
“People collect a lot of cardboard or Styrofoam for recycling and will ride for miles to exchange it for money at the nearest centre.
“This is pretty much the only way most Chinese people can transport loads like this so I guess its common sense, even if their view is blocked off.”
