A neglected pup that was left for dead has been living his final days in style after being rescued.
Coffee Bean, a 17 year old Chihuahua, had been living it up by completing a doggie dream bucket list such as meeting a beauty queen and being on TV.
Kind-hearted Tiffany Hutto, 54, adopted the senile pup from Pawlicious Poochie Pet Rescue in April and spent the last two months ensuring his lives life to the fullest.
Tiffany, from St. Petersburg, Florida, said: “CoffeeBean was an abused, neglected and left for dead pup.
“He was depressed and he developed pneumonia along with having a leg issue.
“I could only imagine the type of life he had. He was a broken spirited little boy.
“So the bucket list was created to help CoffeeBean understand what a real life full of love and understanding is all about.
“I put myself in CoffeeBeans situation. What a dog normally sees, what he would want to do and what would he never think of doing.
“The usual stuff came up like playing in the water. But, I wanted more.
“Now people have text and messaged me wanting to help make things happen.”
CoffeeBean has been a K9 officer for the day, rode in a fire truck, met Miss Florida, gone to the beach, watched a sun set and ate a café.
Tiffany said: “The experience has been awesome. CoffeeBean has seen and done things most humans don’t get to.
“I mean who gets to go to a television station and hang out with evening anchors?
“His attitude has done a complete 180, he is happy, he eats like a horse and I truly think he is loving life.
“One thing I know for sure is CoffeeBean has mine and my husband’s hearts. He is my little white faced love bug and I love him as unconditionally as he loves me.”
