A mathematician, on a trip to South Africa, captured the moment his son got to meet African penguins.
Mikihail Korostelev, took his son, Tikhon, to visit the penguins last winter after his little boys fascination with his toy penguin.
The pictures shows Tikhon, who is nearly one year old, sat next to the friendly animals who were more than happy to interact with the father and son.
The pictures were taken just out of Cape Town and Mikihail said:
“The penguins will have some special stories to tell their friends and Tikhon will have some great photos to see and share when he is grown up.”
Mikihail, 34, who also own his own adventure agency, said:
“I started doing photography in 2013 and grew fond of underwater photography.
“Since then I’ve been to many different countries, photographing underwater dwellers.”
The dad, from Moscow, was surprised with how close he got to the penguins and said:
“It looks like both Tikhon and the penguins were happy to be acquainted.”
