Photographer and filmmaker Philipp Reiter, 29, captured incredible footage of friend and mountaineer Anton Plazer in his attempt to set a new fastest known time hiking the famous hiking loop Watzmannüberschreitung on the Watzmann in Germany on June 26.
While the hike usually takes two to three days, Anton was able to complete the super technical 23km and 2.300m+ loop in an incredible two hours, 47 minutes and eight seconds.
Philipp said: “I really like scrambling, climbing and technical terrain.
“You are so focused to not fall and film same time, it’s super hard and exhausting to follow so that time flies!”
