The staff at this care home decided to join in the fun with a viral dance challenge to lift the spirits of everyone involved.
Workers at Anya Court Care Home in Rugby, Warwickshire, saw the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue team do a TikTok challenge, and they wanted to join in the fun.
The care home currently houses 57 residents and the staff wanted to bring some light hearted fun to all the staff and residents at this difficult time.
Karen Handley works at the care home and she has loved the positive reaction the staff’s dancing has gathered.
“The local fire service, @WarksFireRescue started this on Twitter by joining in the TikTok challenge to thank key workers,” said Karen.
“This was then picked up by the Rugby Police who did their version and we decided we should join in too, so all staff members from across Anya Court got involved.
“The team are in good spirits working really hard to keep the home running safely and ensuring the residents are well looked after.
“Locally, everyone has loved it and has had a really positive community spirit.”
