A YouTuber used nothing but glass bottles and the humble objects around him to re-create the sounds of massive hit song ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones and I.
Dan Mace, 29, is an award-winning director who has used ‘sound diegetic’, a method of showing the source of the sound on-screen, as part of his films.
Recorded in Los Angeles, California, Dan decided to tackle one of the biggest pop smash hits of the past year, Tones and I’s ‘Dance Monkey’.
Using nothing by glass bottles, plastic water containers and even a metallic rubbish bin, Dan managed to re-create the popular song.
Dan said: “The series is called ’Seeing Sounds’ which is our social media adoption of the concept.
“We were very very stoked with the outcome.”
