Crumbs, is that Prince George?! This collection of celebrities might look like an exhibition from Madam Tussauds…but they’re actually all made out of CAKE!
Lara Mason, 33, began making cakes in 2011 and has gone on to create a whole range of incredible bakes from live size figures to your favourite film characters.
Lara, from Walsall, West Mids, has baked an array of celebrities, cartoon characters and even royalty that go on to sell for an eye-watering £10,000.
The mum-of-two has transformed the likes of Meghan and Harry, Peter Schofield and Holly Willoughby and characters from the Hunger Games and Game of Thrones into your favourite sweet-treat.
One of Lara’s most recent bakes was for her three year old twins, Lily and Lyla’s birthday where she made them a life-like Moana birthday cake.
Lara said: “The cakes can take me two full days to complete, depending on the size of them and they go on to sell for between £200 to £10,000.
“You start by making standard cake sponge, stacking them on top of each other, carving them out and then adding a lot of icing.
“I love making cakes – it’s my passion and that’s why I would never turn it into my full time job.
“I work as a customer advisor at the moment and I don’t want to turn my hobby into my job because I don’t want to lose my passion for it.
“It’s amazing making your family feel proud”.
