This is the mesmerizing moment a lucky scuba diver swam with hundreds of tadpoles in a river.
Underwater photographer Maxwel Hohn, from British Columbia, Canada, dived in a remote lake on Vancouver Island and captured amazing scenes as a multitude of tadpoles swam around him.
Maxwel lay on the bottom of the shallow lake and filmed the tiny creatures swimming amongst the seaweed.
Maxwel said: “I don’t want to post the lake’s name on social media because it will become a tourist attraction and it’s a very sensitive habitat that can get damaged easily.
“This dive was a unique experience; I have never seen so many tadpoles gathered at once.”
