The curious monkey was captured while checking out the photographer’s camera- and it looks like he wanted to get his job.
Mogens Trolle, 50, a biologist from Denmark, captured the funny monkey during one of his trips.
The images were taken at the Tangkoko Nature Reserve, Sulawesi, Indonesia.
He said: “You see a youngster looking very much like a wildlife photographer standing behind my camera, looking into it, checking out the buttons, turning it around, just like I would myself when photographing.
“These are wild macaques, they are used to tourists and photographers, but they don’t get fed or anything, so this is strictly curiosity.
“When they handle my gear, they just look to me like they are thinking like crazy, trying to figure out what it is, that’s what intrigues me.”
