This delicious looking instrument is made from noodles and has the capacity to glow neon colours under UV lights.
Audio Engineer, Daniel Seidel was inspired to create such a Frankenstein-like guitar using ramen noodles as his material of choice.
The spontaneous choice to make the axe glow in the dark was a fantastic choice as blue and green neon colours stand out and highlight the noodles set in the body.
Daniel begins the tasty project in his garage in Eibenstock, Germany and starts to craft the silicone mould, selecting the shape that the noodle guitar will take.
The glow in the dark powder is applied, the noodles are placed in the mould, the epoxy resin is poured in and left to set.
Once firm enough to work with, the body of the guitar is set up to play; electronics are installed and the top of the body is buffed out.
The neck is drilled on and the strings attached, the noodling begins on the successful build.
Under the UV lights, the guitars takes on a breath-taking aesthetic of a blue top, green back and orange stings.
Daniel said: “I was inspired by the YouTuber Burls Art who built a guitar out of 1200 pencils a few months ago.
“He really pushed the idea of using different materials in a creative way.
“And there is this ramen noodle meme, where someone fixed his sink only with ramen noodles.
“The most difficult thing was to come up with ideas on how to build it.
“It was a spontaneous silly idea to combine these but I really like how it turned out.
“It sounds delicious but basically it plays and sounds very similar to a normal guitar.”
