An urban explorer discovered a Soviet-era machine in an abandoned warehouse and decided to take it for a spin.
Though the USSR may have collapsed over two decades ago, the legacy of the Soviet Union can still be found across eastern Europe.
Urban explorer “shiey”, and a group of pals hit the mother-load, as while exploring an abandoned warehouse in Poland, they came across a fully functioning Soviet-era machine.
Being the inquisitive explorer that he is, shiey and company decided to take the giant metal monster crane for a spin, finding, to their surprises that they could very easily operate the rusted crane.
He said: “We stumbled upon a working crane in a what looked like an abandoned factory.
“Without any experience, we turned the crane on and drove it.
“We found the location randomly after climbing around nearby factory roofs which led us on to the roof of the factory.
“Due to the collapse of the Soviet Union, the building was left in terrible shape.
“We did not cause any damage to the crane or the factory. We put the crane back in its place before we left and turned it off.”
