An aquatic videographer was over the moon when he captured mesmerising footage of thousands of Moon Jellyfish.
While visiting Oxnard, California, videographer Lucas Richter, 22, managed to capture some truly mesmerising footage of thousands of moon jellyfish floating in the waters off the southern coast.
The tiny white aquatic clouds can be seen harmoniously floating in the cool waters.
Individually the Jellyfish were only 1 to 7 inches in size, however, combined, the sheer mass of the bobbing fish resulted in an epic underwater scene.
Lucas said: “Moon jellyfish are not dangerous. Human skin is too thick to be stung by them.
“Jellyfish don’t have a heart or a brain, they don’t think or have motives, they simply peacefully exist and I like that.”
