With Avengers fandom at an all-time high, one creative make-up artist used her skills to transform herself into a Marvel themed work of art.
As long as there is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there will be hardcore fans that will go to any length to express their intense fandom.
One such fan decided to dedicate her body in the name of Marvel art, as Laura Gisel Barrios Kauffman from San Luis Potosi, México, transformed her body into Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts, fully suited, booted and prepared for battle in an Iron Man suit.
The painstaking work shows Laura taking black, purple and silver make-up and paint and coating her chest, neck and arms in order to re-create the armour worn by the famed character.
Laura said: “I am pretty much self-taught and have been doing body make-up since 2015. I learnt the basics from some friends and a few videos, but it is down to practice and trying and failing.
“Since I was a child, I’ve loved to wear costumes and acting and I felt like I needed to express my creativity.
“For the fans, this movie is the end of an era in our lives. We have always loved how this great woman is not only beautiful, but she is also strong, intelligent and kind.
“People enjoy watching how I create a beloved character from nothing. I have received great feedback because people enjoy seeing how only a little of paint can transform me in someone else.”
