Shocking footage has emerged showing a middle-aged woman wielding a HAMMER at a teenage girl in a KFC car park – after a fight emerged over a disabled parking space.
The viral video, filmed at KFC at Stonedale Retail Park in Croxteth, Liverpool, shows a redheaded woman with a hammer gripped in her hand tussling with another younger woman with long dark hair.
Delivery driver Mark Robin Clayton, from Liverpool, captured the dramatic brawl on Wednesday evening with his clip racking up thousands of views on social media.
He said two customers were inside the fast food chain when a woman came in to demand they move out of the parking bay – before the fight allegedly broke out as the man left the restaurant to move his car.
Mark, 36, said: “I was in KFC with a mate getting some food and this lad was in KFC with his bird.
“A woman came in saying ‘you are parking in the disabled spot, I am with a friend who is disabled’.
“He told her he had only come in to KFC to use the toilet, and she asked him to move the car.
“He walked over to the car with the woman he was with and got into the car to move it.
“The woman was parked next to them, not in the disabled spot, and as the young girl came over she got the hammer and went to hit her with it, so the young girl pulled her hair.
“My mate said ‘record this, it is going to be mental’.”
Mark claims after his video finished a KFC box meal, which had been placed on top of the car, was thrown at the driver by the older woman.
But instead of hitting him, it missed and hit a KFC member of staff.
Merseyside Police confirmed today [FRI] two middle-aged women had been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesman said: “Carol Lea, 55, from Bosworth Road, St Helens has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and threatening behaviour and released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
“Another 56-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of affray and was cautioned for threatening behaviour.
“A 19-year-old girl was taken to hospital with an injury to her head believed to have been sustained through a punch.”
