A massive herd of elephants wowed an unsuspecting tourist by drinking from a pool right outside their hotel room.
Alan Feldstein is a wildlife expert who has owned a Safari adventure company for a number of years, but that doesn’t mean the 63-year-old can’t be surprised and amazed from time to time in the wilds of South Africa.
Being awoken bright and early at 6.30 AM, Alan was greeted by an amazing sight right outside of his window, where a large herd of elephants were casually hanging around poolside.
Peacefully slurping on the water supply, the herd then quietly moved on, with one elephant raising their trunk as if to say thank you to Alan.
Alan said: “I was sound asleep when all of a sudden I heard a whoosh.
“I was awoken by a herd of about 12 to 15 elephants of all ages and sizes drinking from my plunge pool.
“I have been going to Africa for nearly 20 videos and I have never seen anything like this.
“I was in awe. I love wildlife and have spent a lot of time out in the bush. I was excited and awestruck, happy and giddy with joy that I got to experience it.
“It puts things into perspective that we are all on this earth and we must live with the wildlife together.”
