Animals Video

A tourist was lucky enough to capture a video of an elephant mid-sneeze – and the result is incredible.

Tapan Sheth, who runs an IT company, was visiting the Amboseli National Park in Kenya earlier this year when he shot the exact moment the elephant said atishoo.

The 40-year-old, from Rajkot in Gujarat, India, was visiting the area to photograph his favourite animal – and was stunned when he bagged the hilarious clip.

Tapan said: “Amboseli is famous for elephants herds, and I wanted to capture single elephant with my wide angle lens for some desired shots.

“I saw this fellow was a bit far from us so I was clicking wide angle shots and shooting video on my iPhone – I never expected him to get so close.

“Suddenly he made a noise and shook his head –  I was stunned and speechless for a moment.

“The noise sounded just like a human sneeze but it was actually a kind of warning elephants give to tell us we were too close.

“This was one of the most thrilling experiences I have had in wildlife – the action, my favourite animal and the moment itself.

“Whenever I watch the video I feel chills and get goosebumps.”
