A Scottish plus sized beauty blogger who has been horrifically trolled for her weight online has defied the bullies.

Lucy Reglerr, 21, says is branded a ‘fat pig’ as well as ‘ugly’ and ‘porky’ daily by online trolls.

The make-up artist believes that she targeted online because she’s a size 28-30 and isn’t the stereotypical beauty blogger.

Lucy from Aberdeen, Scotland, claims she has been forced to report some trolls to the police – as some included death threats.

After starting her MUA career two years ago, Lucy says she is refusing to give up on her passion for make-up despite the negativity surrounding her work.

Lucy, who is also studying hairdressing at college, said: “I’ve been trolled severely online because of my size.

“It’s horrific that I’m subjected to daily abuse but I won’t let online trolls ruin my career.

“I’m often told that my make-up skills are rubbish and that I’m a ‘minger’ or ‘fat’ and generally disgusting.

“But things got to much last year and reported some of the abuse to the police as I’d received death threats.

“There wasn’t much the police could do to help because the individual involved didn’t live in my area and therefore wasn’t seen as a threat.

“Thankfully I now have admins for my Facebook page so they monitor the negative comments so I don’t have to read most of them though.

“I often find that my Facebook live filming is streamed into abusive groups which then starts a whole thread of abuse”

Lucy now boosts over 20k followers to her make-up page online but says she hasn’t yet started her MUA business properly.

She added: “I’m self-taught and although I do take bookings, it’s not something I do regularly.

“Normally I’m just trialling new looks on myself.

“I love experimenting with make-up and showcasing it online, it’s just a shame that I’m subjected to so much abuse for no real reason.

“I am bigger than most other girls as I can be a size 30 in some clothes but that shouldn’t mean I should be targeted.”

Lucy is sharing her story in a bid to make a stand against trolls and urges others not to sit back and allow themselves to be bullied by strangers.

She added: “If I spot a negative comment I never hold back and will always reply.

“I just won’t allow someone to call me fat without hitting back nowadays.

“I was left in tears last week after someone insulted my appearance when I transformed myself into a tiger but that doesn’t happen very often as I’m quite good at shrugging it off.

“I’m so proud of how far I’ve come and in my local area people are starting to recognise me in the street through my make-up page.

“I hope my trolls realise that I’ll never change or stop with my beauty blogging.

“I do get tonnes of supportive messages too which is amazing.”
