Three geese hitched a ride on a combine harvester after getting stuck in a corn field.
In February 2019, farmer Pete Wittmayer, 27, was driving his combine harvester through a field in Fallon, Montana, when he noticed one goose plodding in front of the vehicle.
Pete soon realised the bird had become stuck and took her on board together with two other geese he stumbled across moments after.
Pete said: “The geese where in the field but couldn’t fly because of the corn stocks and couldn’t run because of the deep snow.
“I picked them up one at a time and carried them into the cab.
“The geese rode with me for a few passes while I finished the field.
“As far as a going away gift all I got was a nice mess on the floor.”
